Government :-

Connexions Wiltshire - education and employment services for young people aged 16-25. Also family mediation service for young people threatened with homelessness.

North Wiltshire District Council - has strategic responsibilities for housing and statutory duties under the Homeless Persons' Acts

General Help and Advice :-

Citizens Advice Bureau - helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice.

Crisis - a national charity that fights homelessness and empowers people to fulfill their potential and transform their lives.

MIND - the leading mental health charity in England and Wales, working to create a better life for everyone with experience of mental distress.

Samaritans - available 24 hours a day to provide confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide.

Shelter - national housing and homelessness charity campaigning for new laws, policies, and solutions.

The Salvation Army - help offered to all persons, regardless of race, creed, colour or gender.

CVSNW - registered charity supporting voluntary action in North Wiltshire

Chippenham Borough Lands Charity - This ancient Charity was set up to aid people who live within the Parish of Chippenham. The Charity is able to assist the aged, sick, disabled or poor inhabitants of Chippenham. The Charity is also able to help groups or societies involved with education, social welfare, health, arts, music or young people, if it is for the benefit of the inhabitants of Chippenham.

Chippenham Churches Together - an association of Christian churches in Chippenham which gives active support to many local worthwhile projects.

The Community Foundation for Wiltshire and Swindon - a registered charity that awards grants to local groups and projects.

Westlea Housing Association - an independent, not-for-profit organisation providing homes for people living in Wiltshire. Duties include the administration of the housing waiting list.

ArtSpark - a group of local artists and designers who devise and facilitate unique and creative arts projects, with and for people and communities.

Reachout - community based project that supports young people up to the age of 25 who have issues with their own or another person's substance misuse.

Chippenham and Swindon Users Forum (CASUF) - a user-led forum for users of Doorway and local drugs and alcohol services.

The Drugs and Homeless Initiative - offers a comprehensive range of treatment and support for people addressing drug and alcohol problems, with particular regard to those who are homeless or in housing need.

Wiltshire Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) - the local partnership tasked to deliver the Government’s National Drug Strategy in Wiltshire.

Community First - a charity that works at the forefront of community development to help improve the quality of life and economic well being of people and local communities throughout Wiltshire and Swindon

The Bridge Project - runs a Saturday Club in Chippenham, Trowbridge, Marlborough and Warminster. The Saturday Clubs are open from 10.00 am - 1.00 pm providing a range of activities for learning and sharing new skills. They offer social contact and the opportunity for a break for carers of adults with mental health needs.

North Wilts Credit Union - North Wilts Credit Union is a non-profit making organization.
They are a community savings and loan co-operative, they save together and then lend to each other from those savings.

The Big Issue - a news & current affairs magazine written by professional journalists and sold on the streets by vendors looking to overcome the crises surrounding homelessness

Homeless Uk - website about services that help homeless people and those at risk of homelessness. Advisors and the public can use it to find information about services across the UK, including hostels, day centres and other advice and support services.

Everyclick.com - Everyclick.com is a search engine that gives half of the revenue it generates to charity.

Recycling Appeal - The Recycling Appeal collects mobile phones, PDAs and printer cartridges for reuse and recycling, raising funds and helping the environment. The Recycling Appeal has generated over £2 million for partner organisations since 1999.
