Assistant
Support Worker
Part time:
12 hrs per week
£18453 p.a. pro rata (NJC Pt 20) - short
term contract of 3 months initially.
The purpose of the post is to provide a high standard of support
within the drop-in sessions to ensure the smooth and safe running
of the service. To provide practical assistance, befriending
and signposting to guests of Doorway with an emphasis on helping
guests to move on in their lives.
The
person may be required, quite often, to work alone and will
be expected to show initiative. Some flexibility
of working hours may be required from time to time
The post will involve working closely with the staff (paid and
unpaid) of Doorway in order
to ensure a safe welcoming environment for guests and visitors
alike.
