Doorway was featured extensively on BBC Radio Wiltshire over a period of four days at the beginning of December 2010

Mark O’Donnell visited the drop-in a couple of months ago, and recorded several in depth interviews with Lisa covering the work of the drop-in.

Samsa.K (one of our guest bloggers) was also interviewed about his personal journey through alcohol dependency over the last year. He was also recorded reading long excerpts from his blog which produced an amazing response from the general public!

Both Doorway and the BBC were flooded with telephone calls and emails from people stating how the broadcasts had touched them.

The timing was brilliant since there was snow on the ground and the weather was bitterly cold. We are very grateful for the opportunity to gain maximum publicity
